NaNoWriMovember Day 9

Funny story: Tomorrow (well, now actually, since its already tomorrow where I was born) is my birthday. I've been living in BC for four years now, but I only surrendered my PEI driver's license two years ago, when we moved to Vancouver from Victoria. That means my driver's license expires... tomorrow. Guess who didn't remember until yesterday? Yup, yours truly.

Well, I was lucky to remember, really. If I hadn't, they might have made me go through the whole rigamarole of applying for a new license, complete with written test and driving test. That would have been a pain. So its a happy story in the end.

Or is it?

You may recall that a provincial driver's license is a primary form of ID. Therefore, it must have an updated picture on it. I'm sorry if I'm drawing this out for those of you who might already have clued in - but yes, it means that magnificent moustache you see above is to be immortalized (well, at least until my new license expires) in a mug shot officially sanctioned by the Province of BC as me. Legitimately, 100%, unquestionably... irrevocably - me. :)

Funny, no?
